About Us

The Cloverhill Surgery was opened in January 2011 under the guidance of John Finnegan-Veterinary Surgeon.
Previously based in Castlerea John set up the new clinic to cater for his small animal clients whilst continuing with his large animal clients at his Williamstown clinic and also as vet on call.
We now have three Vets (John, Brian and Katja) at our practice who cater for your large or small animals alike.
We also have a full time veterinary nurse (Sarah louise) on site to help with  any queries you may have and to order your treatments and liaise with the Vets regarding prescriptions on your behalf.
The surgery is on the N60 main road into Roscommon making it easy to travel to from the surrounding areas.

All animals are welcome.

Please ensure your dogs are on leads and owners are responsible for their dogs behaviour. Cats should be in secure baskets and likewise smaller mammals also to be in secure carriers.

There is ample parking for vehicles-although we do ask for patience when parking on surgery evenings as often the car park can become very full.

When arriving at the clinic we ask you to report to reception where Colette will be happy to help with your visit.

  1. I know experienced vets who aren't comfortable with doing spays! It took me years of doing spays every day to get my surgery time down from about an hour to my current 20 minutes or so.
